The IB FOUNDATIONS workshop offers a unique opportunity for students at the beginning of their IB journey. Students will learn everything I wish I knew at the start of the IB, and be able hit the ground running in their first semester. The workshop is divided into three 90 minute modules.
The following three questions will be answered:
- What does the IB actually want?
- What does a successful IB assessment look like?
- What does a successful IB student look like?
Students will develop the following skills:
- Critically reading rubrics and subject guides
- Effective and organised note taking
- Time management
- Understanding command terms

IB ELEVATE: Y12 students, 6h
Take your study to the next level.
The IB ELEVATE workshop is designed specifically for students starting Year 12. These students have already begun to grow their academic knowledge and core skills. Through this workshop, students will be able to hone these skills, setting themselves up for strong and steady improvements, from draft to final IAs and from trial to final examinations.
The following questions will be answered:
- How can I succeed with my Internal Assessments?
- What is the best way to manage deadlines?
- How do I take my work from good to great?
Students will develop the following skills:
- Analysing and tailoring to assessment criteria
- Accurate and efficient referencing
- Actioning feedback on drafts
- Effective time management
- Constructing logical arguments
